about me

The first thing you should know about me, is that I’m a lover of agriculture and business. I’ve combined my passions through The AgBiz Consultants, which helps farmers, ranchers and agribusiness owners achieve financial clarity, business prosperity and family harmony. I’ve been serving the ag industry as a consultant for seven years and have loved every minute of it. Throughout my time working as a consultant, I’ve created a proven system to generate profitability and growth for agribusinesses. Together, my clients and I collaborate to strategize, plan and execute their path to success. I’ve had the honor to work with every type of ag business you can think of in every region of the United States. I’ve also been featured in several podcasts and newspapers, including Working Cows Podcast, Ag State of Mind Podcast, BizChix Podcast and the Tri-State Livestock News.

I consider myself a certified “Ranch Kid” with all the childhood memories of hard work and fun to go along with it. I grew up on both a dairy farm and later a commercial cattle ranch. With my husband, Matt, a 4th generation rancher himself, we raise ranch-to-table grass fed beef at Patten Cattle Company. We recently purchased our own land and are always looking for new opportunities to utilize our shared entrepreneurial spirit.

I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration & Accounting from Montana State University-Billings, where I graduated Cum Laude. I’ve spent my entire career working in the ag industry, and I haven’t looked back. I’ve proudly served on the Montana Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers board. Serving my local community is very important to me and I’ve been actively involved in the Powder River Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture, Powder River-Carter Farm Bureau and Biddle School Board. I live on our newly purchased ranch in Biddle, Montana with my husband, Matthew and four children, Lillian (6), Abigail (4), Henry (2) and Lewis (infant). Ranching with my own family is a huge passion of mine, and the reason behind my drive to help other producers achieve their own family harmony.
